Proprietary technology on the outer facing of GoBoard PRO has been improved with the use of polyester. This adds strength to the boards so you’ll need less fasteners – meaning a quicker installation – plus the reduced permeance (less than 0.5 perm rating) means PRO can be used for steam showers.
The original GoBoard is up to 80% lighter than cement boards, making it much easier for installers to handle and install. GoBoard PRO is even lighter!

Originally in the works several years ago, GoBoard PRO had to be paused during the Covid-19 pandemic because of production challenges, and JM’s primary focus was placed on the original GoBoard product. PRO relaunched in 2024.
