DRIVE THE DIFFERENCE WITH ORGANOSHEETS

As a leading supplier of glass fiber reinforcements and technical nonwovens, Johns Manville has developed Neomera® PA-6 Organosheets. These sheets represent a significant innovation for the transportation and industrial sectors, providing customizable, high-performance material options.

Neomera

Neomera combines fabric reinforcements with PA-6, resulting in excellent mechanical and heat-resistant properties. With a thickness of 1-3 mm and a width of up to 1.5 m, Neomera PA-6 organosheets offer advanced material solutions. They excel in thermoforming, stamping, and compression processes. The Neomera OS-6 series, reinforced with glass-woven fabric, provides exceptional strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. For even greater strength and formability, the Neomera NCF-6 series, reinforced with non-crimp fabric, is an excellent choice. Neomera has also passed stringent fire testing without the use of additives, making it a reliable option. Customization options, including carbon fibers or hybrid systems, are available for specific requirements.

Stefan Mohr

"Neomera Organosheet offers a variety of advantages such as high impact resistance, full recyclability and excellent mechanical properties. Our composites are up to 60% lighter parts compared to aluminum! All in one: maximum strength, minimum weight!"

Dany de Kock

"In combination with our wet caprolactam monomer impregnation process we can produce sheets between 1mm up to 3mm in one step, without any consolidation. This results in a stiff material with very high impact, as well as additive-free fire resistance properties."

Long and Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composites

Long and continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites are increasingly used in automotive, transportation, and aerospace sectors due to their high stiffness, impact resistance, thermoformability, and recyclability. Various production technologies, such as LFT, GMT, UD tapes, and organosheets, facilitate cost-effective mass production. This session will explore these technologies, their applications, and relevant case studies.
