JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape Joins JM Lineup

The new JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape offers a new option for roofs on which heat welding is the preferred solution to adhesive. It features a 6” flashing strip, 3” of which is peel and stick and 3” of which is reinforced TPO. Designed to be applied to perimeter metal flashing, JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape allows for tight membrane-to-membrane welds and adhesion to metal edges. The combination adds up to robust and resilient details.

Not meant to replace our traditional TPO Cover Tape, which features 6” wide tape, JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape is another solution for roofers’ toolboxes. And it comes with the peace of mind of knowing JM will stand behind it for years to come. Systems using JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape are eligible for Peak Advantage® Guarantees of up to 25 years vs. 20 years for those using traditional cover tape.
