Roofing Regional Services Team Hosts Holiday Food Drive 

​The Roofing JMTC Engagement Committee — whose members are Hannah Long, Rachel Geske, Maddy Griffin, Kevin Solley, Debbie Basey, Spencer Hales, Carrie Jenkins and Steve Kondracki — searched for a way to engage the entire Roofing Regional Services team and safely stay connected with each other through the end of the year. Their discussion resulted in a month-long donation drive for underprivileged families in Denver.

The team was inspired by the STARS Holiday Project, which donates gifts, clothing and food to underserved families whose children attend Westwood Early Learning Center and Rude Park Early Learning Center. Together they donated more than 1,600 food items.

“Families seemed even more grateful for the food bags this time than I’ve seen in a while,” said Sara Wes, a staff member at Westwood. “With the holidays coming up and the deep struggles many of them are going through these days, they were SO happy to receive these donations!”
