Over 1 million people in the US are living with multiple sclerosis. This disease is often disabling, having a negative effect on the central nervous system ultimately disrupting the flow of information between the brain and body. This is truly a difficult disease to live with and indeed effects more than just the ones who have it. Johns Manville believes in creating a future free of MS, which is why Bike MS is one of our largest fundraisers of the year.
Bike MS Colorado is a 150 mile bike race dedicated to raising funds for multiple sclerosis on behalf of the National MS Society. Johns Manville is one of races largest sponsors raising over $100k this year. JM employees rallied to make this years MS 150 truly memorable. JM participants included 42 volunteers, 116 riders, and the CEO of the company herself, Mary Rhinehart.
Bike MS Colorado is a two-day ride that truly pushed participants. The ride was a beautiful 150 miles through the foothills of Colorado’s front range starting in Westminster, going to Fort Collins and then back to the start. Sweat was shed, relationships were nurtured, and funds were raised for the worthy cause of making a brighter future.
