Johns Manville (JM), manufacturer of nonwovens from glass fibers, polyester and polypropylene, will present innovative products at its booth number 327 at the Filtration Show in Chicago, Illinois, November 18-19, 2015.
The company will display a polyester spunbond for air pollution control which is produced at the new JM BiCo spunbond line in Berlin, Germany. The cleanable filter media offers excellent mechanical strength and pleatability.
For HVAC applications, JM provides its micro glass air media with 100% bio-soluble glass fibers that are harmless to health. The natural structure of the filter media allows a low pressure drop combined with a very high dust holding capacity. Furthermore, it enables purely mechanical filtration.
Bio-soluble glass micro fibers for HEPA/ULPA and ASHRAE air filtration is another product that will be shown. The very fine diameter of the micro fibers leads to high-filtration efficiency. The fibers are easily dispersible, providing improved density and tensile strength within filter papers.
Visitors looking for filtration media for food & beverage applications can rely on JM’s PP meltblown. The product provides precision calendaring delivering consistent filtration properties. A third party certification is available for high-purity filtration applications.
