A:  AP foil faced foam can be used underneath a concrete slab in applications where the product will not be in contact with the ground. AP foil faced foam should not be used below grade on exterior walls or between a concrete slab and the ground. Applications where the foam will potentially be in continuous contact with liquid water should be avoided as the foam will absorb water.
